Senior Community Manager

We’re looking for someone who has experience building communities and has a sense of humour. You’ll also need to know how to count users and followers and then multiply them. We want lots of them; and that’d be your main job. Creating an awesome community of content creators and curators; and helping them find and make awesome content. Do it in your own way... as long as it happens.

Taking unsuspecting human beings lurking on the web and transform them into a creative powerhouse uploading and engaging with our awesome Tunemoji content. Which are like GIFs with sound.

We’re growing pretty fast atm. We recently won a Cannes Lion, and we’re backed by good people like Sean Parker, Will.i.am, David Guetta, the boss of Warner music. We’re also the only ones with music licensing in messages. Soon we’ll have native integration with Viber, Skype, and we just launched a campaign with Jason Derulo having successfully completed for Def Jam on Kik. So we rock the house in all sorts of ways.

Community engagement is the cornerstone to Emoticast’s marketing strategy. Our team is seeking an innovative, creative, and passionate community builder that can utilize social media, industry collaborations, events, and brand partnerships.

You will work hand in hand with the CEO and our Creative Director.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Someone funny and creative… and able to prove this in a short amount of time
  • Experience building and growing a community, and able to show it to us.
  • At least 3 years experience.
  • Have a passion for music & popular culture.
  • You should be familiar with marketing analytics tools, remember to use them and present your results regularly. You should know more than we do, and we already know a lot of things.
  • You are proactive.
  • Able to cut some videos put together some nice visuals for social media content that is interesting and engaging.
  • Experience growing a community of engaged brand ambassadors, and doing fun stuff with them.
  • Worked with influencers. Able to communicate clearly and maintain relationship with them.

BONUS:

  • Deep understanding of human behaviour.
  • Write copy like a God. A funny kind of God. Like a Trickster.
  • Obsessed with cats and memes. More than is considered normal.
